For the first time in its journey, Kaifi Azmi Sports Academy, located in Mijwan, Phoolpur, Azamgarh, proudly hosted the 70th Tehsil-Level Secondary Badminton Championship. What made this milestone even more memorable was the extraordinary performance of the academy’s young athletes, who turned this historic occasion into a celebration of dedication, talent, and perseverance.
The championship witnessed an outstanding medal haul, with students from the academy winning an impressive 23 medals across various categories:
- 13 Gold Medals
- 8 Silver Medals
- 2 Bronze Medals
These victories are more than just numbers. They represent countless hours of practice, early morning training sessions, determination in the face of challenges, and the unwavering commitment of every player who stepped onto the court.
Behind this remarkable achievement stands Coach Neeraj Gaur, whose tireless guidance, technical expertise, and belief in every athlete have played a pivotal role in shaping this success. His dedication has helped create an environment where young players from rural backgrounds can discover their potential and compete with confidence.

Building on this incredible performance, 12 athletes from Kaifi Azmi Sports Academy have qualified for the District-Level Badminton Championship, scheduled to be held on 3rd August at Sukhdev Pahalwan Sports Stadium, Azamgarh. Their qualification is a proud moment not only for the academy but also for the entire Mijwan community, which continues to witness the transformative power of sports.
This achievement reflects the larger vision of Mijwan Welfare Society—to create opportunities where rural children receive quality coaching, professional infrastructure, and the confidence to pursue excellence.
