Mijwan, November 22, 2025 — The Mijwan Welfare Society (MWS) marked Mahila Sashaktikaran Diwas (Women’s Empowerment Day) with a special tribute to Smt. Shaukat Kaifi, renowned writer, actor, and advocate for women’s rights.
The event, hosted at Shri Kaifi Azmi Girls Inter College, Mijwan, showcased the organisation’s ongoing commitment to strengthening educational access and self-reliance among rural women.

Strengthening Educational Mobility
MWS distributed 50 bicycles to girl students to support safer, quicker, and more reliable transportation to school.
MWS extends sincere gratitude to Hero Cycles for their CSR partnership and to Mr. Pankaj Munjal, Chairman and Managing Director, for his steadfast support in promoting girls’ education through mobility initiatives.
Celebrating Shaukat Kaifi’s Legacy
Students presented cultural performances and staged the play “Woh Bol Uthi”, honouring Smt. Shaukat Kaifi’s inspiring voice for gender equality and social justice.
