
In a heartfelt ceremony held on Tuesday at Kaifi Azmi Girls Inter College, the Mijwan Welfare Society honored the outstanding achievements of student athletes from the Kaifi Azmi Sports Academy. The event recognized their exceptional performances in various Taekwondo championships held at the block, district, zone, and state levels.
Each participant was presented with a certificate of appreciation and a memento by the Society, applauding their dedication, discipline, and sporting spirit. These accolades not only celebrate their achievements but also serve as an encouragement for future endeavors in the field of sports.
The event also included a special announcement: the Kaifi Azmi Girls Inter College has been selected for the High School and Intermediate Sports Competition for the academic year 2024–25. This recognition is a testament to the institution’s growing reputation in academics and athletics alike.
Chief guest K.K. Verma, Corporation’s Chief Administrative Officer, and Dr. Mohammed Azim, senior medical officer at Mijwan Hospital, addressed the gathering, commending the students for their perseverance and hard work. They emphasized the importance of sports in holistic development and applauded the role of the Kaifi Azmi Sports Academy in nurturing young talent.
