All donations are exempt from Income Tax under 80 G. Mijwan Welfare Society has FCRA clearance from the Government of India.

A nine member executive committee manages the Mijwan Welfare Society,of which four are women. In keeping with the traditions of Azamgarh it has members from all castes and communities.
