A Celebration of Heritage, Hope, and Human Connection
Mijwan Welfare Society had the honour of hosting Ms. Neeti Ji and Ms. Neelima Ji, whose presence brought inspiration and warmth to every corner of the village. The visit began with a traditional Tilak ceremony at Fateh Manzil, followed by a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Kaifi Azmi and Fateh Hussain Rizvi, whose vision continues to guide Mijwan’s journey of empowerment.
The guests expressed deep admiration for the social transformation carried forward under the leadership of Shabana Azmi Ji, President of MWS. Their appreciation reaffirmed the impact of decades of committed work in rural development and community upliftment.
A Journey Through Mijwan’s Hubs of Learning and Growth
The tour included key centres of progress — the Sports Academy, Computer Training Centre, and the Mijwan Chikankari Centre — where the guests interacted with students and artisans. These encounters highlighted the skills, aspirations, and determination shaping the future of rural youth and women.
A Theatrical Highlight: “Woh Bol Uthi”
A deeply moving moment of the visit was the performance of “Woh Bol Uthi”, directed by Varsha Anand. The play received heartfelt applause for its powerful message and the talent of the young performers.
Carrying the Spirit Forward
The visit concluded with renewed commitment, shared purpose, and heartfelt connections. Mijwan continues to stand strong on its mission — empowerment, education, and equality for all.
Together, we honour the past, celebrate the present, and build a brighter tomorrow.
