Gurjeet Kaur, an accomplished development professional with over three decades of leadership experience, now serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Mijwan Welfare Society. Known for her visionary approach and transformative leadership, she has steered impactful initiatives in gender equality, inclusive education, and sustainable livelihoods, partnering with global and national organizations to bring lasting social change. Her expertise spans strategic program design, governance, fundraising, and community empowerment. As CEO, Gurjeet leads Mijwan Welfare Society with a dynamic blend of innovation, empathy, and purpose, driving the organization’s mission of empowering women, youth, and marginalized communities toward a more equitable and sustainable future.

Salim Khan is a development and public policy professional with over three decades of experience in research, programme design, programme management, institutional building, capacity building and policy advisory roles within the development sector. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Osmania University, Hyderabad, and a PGDM/MBA from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT).

His professional work spans collaboration with national and international development agencies, consulting organizations and central and state governments, with a thematic focus on education, public health, labour and migration, human rights, child rights, women’s empowerment and sustainable rural livelihoods. His expertise includes programme planning and management, programme evaluation, research and development, policy analysis, institutional strengthening and capacity building.

Most recently, he contributed to the formulation of the State Action Plan for the Elimination of Child Labour in Uttar Pradesh (target 2030), working in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO), UNICEF, UNDP, Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. His broader contributions include labour policy analysis, research on internal migration and the development of integrated livelihood frameworks aimed at inclusive and sustainable rural development.

Manoj Kumar Prajapati holds a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) from UPRTOU, Prayagraj, and a PGDCA from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut. With over 11 years of expertise in computer education and academic administration, he has a proven track record of excellence, previously serving as Senior Faculty (NIELIT) and Centre-in-Charge at the Kaifi Azmi Computer & Training Center.
Currently, as Deputy Manager at Mijwan Welfare Society, Mr. Prajapati is instrumental in driving the organization’s mission through strategic planning, program implementation, and rigorous monitoring of educational initiatives. His leadership focuses on capacity building and fostering inclusive, sustainable learning environments.
His dedication was notably recognized with the TAG 2024 ``Leaving No Child Behind`` (Education Impact) Award. Supplemented by professional experience in Delhi and Mumbai, his diverse background uniquely positions him as a versatile leader in the development and management sectors.

Anil Mehra is a Charted Accountant with nearly 40 years of experience in the finance sector with different organizations. He serves on the board of Dastkar. He is heading the Huma Resource, Admin, and Finance team of Mijwan Welfare Society and works in collaboration with MWS board and CEO.

Vivek is a Chartered Accountant and has been at the center of finance industry for over a decade now. His technical expertise includes carrying out audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and Auditing Standards followed in India. He has expert knowledge in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles followed in India (Indian GAAP) and Ind AS. He is currently partner in Maheshwari Maheshwari & Co. Chartered Accountants He has done audit of various listed and unlisted manufacturing companies, trusts, broking firm, insurance sectors, NBFC and various Public Sector undertakings including PSU Banks.

Saleha has 20 years of Experience into Public Relations, Brand Communications & Marketing, Pageant Training into Communication Skills & Public Speaking. Executive Producer, Former Inflight Service Trainer.

Sanyogita Prajapati possesses over three decades of craftsmanship and training experience, honed in Mijwan village. As a pivotal figure and board member, she actively contributes to skill training, skill development, and a wide range of welfare programs and activities.

A committed educationist with over two decades of leadership experience, Vandana Mishra shares the vision of the Mijwan Welfare Society—to transform lives through education, dignity, and opportunity. As an academic leader, she believes that true empowerment begins with learning that awakens self-worth and social responsibility.
Her work reflects a deep commitment to nurturing young minds, mentoring teachers, and creating inclusive learning spaces that inspire confidence and compassion. Guided by the ideals of Kaifi Azmi and Shabana Azmi, she strives to bridge the gap between rural potential and national progress, ensuring that every child, especially every girl, gets the wings of education to soar.

Amit has 6 years of working experience with Rajiv Gandhi Mahila Vikas Parioyojana as Community Facilitator and has completed his Bachelor of Arts from Sampurnanand University Varanasi.

Santosh is M.com from VBSPU university, Jaunour. He has 7 years of experience in the development sector. Before joining Mijwan Welfare Society, he has worked with some reputed NGOs like Jan Vikas Sansthan and UPNP.

Niraj Gond is a national-level badminton player turned seasoned coach and sports management expert. A graduate of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, he has trained young athletes at Sunbeam School, Shemford School, and the Mijwan Welfare Society.
