HOH News Flash

Few years ago these village girls did not have the confidence to even speak. SPORTS was an alien concept in this patriarchal village that was frozen in time with rituals like child marriage and woman treated like second class citizens.

From Where to Where?

Thanks to HOH supported Youth Chapter, our young youth leader Gurbaz a committed sports fanatic, at the tender age of 13 yrs, visited this village and started a simple sports program.

He was able to plant the seed of sports in these girls who were in poor physical condition and did not even own a a pair of shoes.

4 years later, these same girls are now in excellent physical condition and have won the Badminton Championship at the inter school open Championship in Aligarh. Today this Sports program is blossoming into a Sports Academy which now has professional coaches and the parents of these girls who once opposed this program are now standing in line to enroll their children.
